A little about Mylo
Mylo James
I’m an agentic software engineer in Chicago. I coordinate AI coding agents in my daily work at Advisors Excel, building APIs and integrations, investigating bugs, and reviewing changes across an existing platform.
I like working through a problem with other engineers: comparing approaches, tracing unexpected behavior, and deciding what to change. My background includes production systems in financial services, healthcare and logistics, teaching full-stack development, and leading six engineers.

I’ve learned to develop with agents by building, finding what goes wrong and changing the approach. I bring that practice to my work at Advisors Excel and my own projects: breaking down tasks, preparing context, coordinating agents and reviewing their work.
